Alphas follows a team of ordinary people with extraordinary abilities as they investigate criminal cases involving other suspected Alphas. Led by noted neurologist and psychiatrist Dr. Lee Rosen (David Strathairn), they operate under the auspices of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service. While investigating these crimes, they discover that a group known as "Red Flag" is using other Alphas to commit crimes, leading them to question their own abilities and allegiances.
