In the small town of Yomiyama, a peculiar curse has afflicted the local middle school's class 3-3 for decades. Students and teachers alike have been met with tragic and untimely deaths, all of which seem to be connected to a mystifying presence that haunts the classroom. When Kouichi Sakakibara transfers into the school, he becomes entangled in the eerie events and is drawn to Mei Misaki, a mysterious girl who seems to be at the center of it all. As the death toll mounts, Kouichi and Mei must unravel the mystery behind the curse before it's too late. Will they be able to break the cycle of death, or will they become its next victims?
