In a world where ninjas and space warriors collide, three misfit pupils of the Hayate-Style Ninja School must rise to the challenge when their peers are slaughtered by an evil space ninja clan known as the Jakanja. With the help of their sensei Mugensai Hinata, who has transformed himself into a hamster to evade capture, and his daughter Oboro Hinata, the trio must become the legendary Hurricanegers and join forces with the Gouraigers of the Ikazuchi-Style Ninja School to defeat Jakanja and protect the universe from their evil plans. But as they embark on their mission, they soon discover that their enemies are not just formidable foes, but also have a powerful secret weapon that could give them control over the very fabric of reality. The Hurricanegers must use all their skills and cunning to defeat Jakanja and save the universe from destruction. Will they be able to overcome their differences and work together to achieve victory, or will they fall prey to the evil clutches of Jakanja?
