Naked Lunch

"Naked Lunch" is a surrealistic and hallucinatory journey into the mind of a troubled exterminator who becomes addicted to the insecticide he uses to kill bugs. As he delves deeper into his addiction, he begins to see giant talking insects and becomes convinced that he is a secret agent tasked with killing his wife. Accidentally killing her while attempting to emulate William Tell, he flees to a mysterious city called Interzone where he spends his time writing reports that eventually become the titular book. Along the way, he encounters a variety of bizarre characters, including a talking insect typewriter and a monstrous shapeshifting centipede. As he tries to make sense of his strange new reality, Lee must confront the dark secrets of his past and the true nature of his addiction.
