Fantastisk film med en förväntat gripande handling då Lagerlöf står för just den. Miljö, scenografi, skådespel och specialeffekter förmedlar oerhörda känslor och den fantastiska musiken sätter stämningen genom hela filmen. Det är ju synd för svens...

On New Year's Eve, a group of drunkards evokes a legend about a phantom carriage that collects the souls of the dead. One of them, David Holm, dies that night and is taken on a journey by the carriage's driver, Georges, to confront his past and the consequences of his actions.
