Rex, a beloved Corgi, lives a life of luxury at Buckingham Palace as the Queen's favorite dog. When Mitzi, President Trump's dog, visits with her owner, the Queen suggests Rex as a potential mate. Rex is unenthusiastic and evades Mitzi, leading to a chaotic confrontation during a state dinner. Feeling ashamed for embarrassing the Queen, Rex runs away and finds himself lost in London's streets, where he must navigate the dangers of the city and confront his own identity as he searches for a way back home. Along the way, he meets new friends who help him discover the true meaning of love and loyalty.
