In 1943 Berlin, four Jewish young adults risk everything to stay in their city and evade the Third Reich. They live in plain sight, hiding in apartments and homes, and survive through a combination of resilience, luck, and the help of ordinary German citizens, communists, Christians, and people working within the Nazi hierarchy. Despite the constant danger, they form a community and find ways to live, love, and even have fun. But as the war rages on, their survival becomes increasingly uncertain. Will they be able to outlast the Nazi regime and make it to the end of the war alive?
