In a world where humans and puppets coexist, a former puppet cop turned private investigator named Phil Philips is tasked with solving a series of murders targeting the cast of a popular children's television show from the 1990s called "The Happytime Gang." With the help of his human secretary, Bubbles, and his former partner, Detective Connie Edwards, Phil must navigate a complex web of suspects and motives to uncover the truth behind the killings. As the body count rises and the investigation becomes more dangerous, Phil must confront his own past mistakes and team up with Edwards to bring the killer to justice. But as they get closer to the truth, they realize that the puppet world is not always what it seems, and that the murderer may be closer than they think.
