"The Great Alaskan Race" is a historical adventure film that tells the true story of Leonhard Seppala, a skilled dog sled driver who embarks on a perilous 700-mile journey across Alaska's unforgiving wilderness to save the lives of children afflicted by a deadly diphtheria outbreak in 1925.
