In the autumn of 1960, two Irish Catholic priests were sent by the Vatican to investigate an alleged miracle at a Magdalene Asylum, where a statue of the Virgin Mary was said to be bleeding from its eyes. Upon their arrival, they discovered something horrifying and sinister about the place. They soon learned that the inmates were being subjected to physical and sexual abuse, and were forced to work in the asylum's laundry business. The priests also discovered that the nuns who ran the asylum were involved in a satanic cult, and that they had been performing a Black Mass ritual. As they delved deeper into the investigation, they encountered supernatural occurrences such as demonic possession and ghostly apparitions. The priests discovered that the asylum had been used as a front for a satanic cult that was involved in child trafficking, and that the nuns had been selling babies to fund their operations. In the climax of their investigation, Father Thomas found a secret passage leading to tunnels where they discovered skeletons of small children who had been murdered by the nuns.
