The Condemned

In this action-packed thriller, a former Delta Force operative named Jack Conrad (played by Steve Austin) is sentenced to death in a corrupt Salvadoran prison. However, he's given a chance to avoid capital punishment and win back his freedom when he's "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and transported to a deserted island in the South Pacific to participate in a deadly game. Along with nine other condemned criminals from around the world, Conrad must fight to the death in a battle royale-style game that's broadcast live over the internet. The last person standing will have their bomb removed and be given their freedom, as well as a pocket full of cash. As the game progresses, FBI agents discover Conrad's true identity and learn that he was a former Delta Force operative who was captured on a black ops mission. Conrad's girlfriend Sarah becomes aware of the situation and watches the show at the local bar she works at, anxiously waiting for her boyfriend's fate to be decided. In the midst of all the chaos, Ewan McStarley and Saiga team up to eliminate the competition, while Yasantwa uses her charms to trick others into their death. After seeing the show's broadcast tower before the show, Conrad manages to infiltrate it and call Sarah, telling her his location before he's forced to leave. As the competition narrows down, McStarley and Saiga become the main antagonists, and Conrad is left alone against them. After a series of intense battles, Conrad emerges victorious but is presumed dead after falling off a cliff into a stream. However, when McStarley is declared the winner and is about to collect his prize, Breckel, the TV show creator, reveals that he has fixed the game in McStarley's favor. Enraged, McStarley kills most of the technicians in an act of revenge before being confronted by Conrad who shoots him several times leading to an explosive showdown between Conrad flanked by Julie (Breckel's girlfriend) and Breckel who ultimately meets his demise when the helicopter he's fleeing on explodes and crashes. Conrad returns home to Sarah a free man bringing an end to Breckel' vicious game.
