In a world where 237 individuals are born with extraordinary telepathic and telekinetic powers,known as "scanners", a group of rogue agents, led by Darryl Revok , aims to dominate society using their abilities. Cameron Vale ,a scanner struggling to control his powers, is captured by the private military company ConSec and taught to harness his abilities by Dr. Paul Ruth. Vale joins forces with an anti-scanner brigade to stop Revok's group and their plans for global domination. But as Vale delves deeper into the world of scanners, he discovers a dark secret about his own past and must confront his demons in a deadly telepathic duel with Revok.
