Purely Belter tells the story of two teenage friends, Gerry and Sewell, who are desperate to get their hands on season tickets for their beloved football club. Despite their best efforts to raise the money through legal means, they turn to increasingly outlandish and illegal schemes, including shoplifting and housebreaking. Their plans are met with a series of setbacks, including a run-in with a violent thug and a disastrous attempt to rob a bank. Along the way, Sewell falls for a girl named Gemma, who becomes pregnant with his child, while Gerry's family struggles with their own personal demons. Despite their misadventures, the friends remain determined to achieve their dream of attending every home game. Will they finally succeed, or will their antics land them in even more trouble?
