Martyrs is a French horror film that follows the story of Lucie, a young woman who escapes from a disused slaughterhouse where she has been imprisoned and tortured for over a year. Fifteen years later, Lucie tracks down her captors and kills them in their home, believing they were involved in her torture. However, things take a dark turn when Anna, Lucie's friend and accomplice, discovers that the parents were not involved and that Lucie has been driven by a demonic force. The film explores themes of trauma, revenge, and the supernatural as it builds towards its shocking climax.
