What is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang about? Toggle content

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a comedy-crime-mystery film that follows the story of Harry Lockhart, a small-time thief who accidentally wins a screen test in New York City and is sent to Los Angeles for a further audition. While in LA, Harry meets his childhood crush Harmony Lane and "Gay" Perry van Shrike, a private investigator who is hired to give him on-the-job tutelage for his screen test. During a stakeout at a Big Bear Lake cabin, Perry and Harry see a car being dumped in the lake and accidentally shoot the lock, releasing a female body. They decide against reporting it, believing it will appear as though Perry killed her. Harry finds the lake corpse, identified as Veronica, in his bathroom and dumps it with Perry, but soon discovers that Jenna, Harmony's sister, used Harmony's credit card to hire Perry. Harry goes to see Harmony, who accidentally cuts off his finger when she slams the door after finding out he lied about being a private investigator. The film is full of twists and turns, with a complex plot that involves murder, deception, and romance. With a talented cast, including Robert Downey Jr., Val Kilmer, and Michelle Monaghan, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a fun and entertaining ride that will keep you guessing until the very end.
