What is The Glades about? 
The Glades follows the story of Jim Longworth, a charming and intelligent homicide detective from Chicago who relocates to the small town of Palm Glade, Florida, after being wrongfully accused of having an affair with his captain's wife. Hoping to escape the stress of his old life and work on his tan, Longworth joins the local bureau of the FDLE, but finds that the area has a higher murder rate than he expected.
