When Tim invites his dream girl, Melissa, on a work retreat to Hawaii, he discovers too late that he has accidentally texted the wrong Melissa - a quirky and unpredictable woman he met on a blind date. The mistake turns into a series of awkward encounters and humiliating situations for Tim in front of his colleagues and boss. However, as they spend more time together, Tim starts to fall for Missy's unique personality and begins to question his initial desire for the "right" Melissa. The plot takes a turn when Missy helps Tim succeed at the retreat and even hypnotizes his boss, but ultimately leaves Hawaii devastated after discovering Tim's mistake.
