Tad Jones, an awkward but lovable explorer,s embarks on an adventure of a lifetime when he discovers that his dear friend and archeologist, Sara Lavroff, has been kidnapped by a wealthy investor seeking to uncover King Midas' legendary necklace said to grant the power to turn everything it touches into gold. With the help of his trusty animal companions - Jeff the dog, Belzoni the parrot, and a rather clumsy mummy - Tad must travel across continents uncovering clues and outwitting foes in a race against time to save Sara before the kidnapper, Jack Rackham, can get his greedy hands on the treasured necklace that could grant him unimaginable wealth and control. Along his journey, Tad faces dangerous obstacles but also discovers new friends and unexpected helpers.
