Stakeout is a 1987 action-comedy-romance film about two detectives, Chris Lecce (Richard Dreyfuss) and Bill Reimers (Emilio Estevez), tasked with staking out the home of a beautiful woman, Maria McGuire (Madeleine Stowe), who is the ex-girlfriend of a dangerous escaped convict, Richard "Stick" Montgomery (Aidan Quinn).
