Filmen er selvfølgelig absolut must-see for alle der er tilnærmelsesvis Vincent van Gogh-fans, men holder man ligeså af animationsfilm, er 'Loving Vincent' mindst lige så interessant.

För en konstkännare torde det vara rent orgiastiskt att se hur filmmakarna gjuter liv i van Goghs motiv, där man kan se en figur från den ena målningen ta sig in i ett annat van Gogh-landskap, för att dra vidare mot nästa.
