In the dark comedy "Heathers," a high school student named Veronica (Winona Ryder) becomes disillusioned with her clique of popular friends, led by the ruthless Heather Chandler (Kim Walker). After meeting a new student and rebellious outsider named Jason "J.D." Dean (Christian Slater), Veronica begins to question her loyalty to the group and their cruel behavior towards others. When J.D. suggests they take revenge on their tormentors, Veronica hesitantly joins in, but things quickly spiral out of control as they accidentally kill Heather Chandler and attempt to cover it up as a suicide. As the body count rises and their plans go awry, Veronica must confront the true horrors of their actions and decide where her loyalties lie. Will she continue down a path of destruction or find a way to break free from the cycle of violence?
