In feudal Japan, a kindhearted charcoal seller named Tanjiro Kamado finds his family brutally slaughtered by a demon. His younger sister Nezuko, the only survivor, is transformed into a demon herself. Determined to turn his sister back into a human and avenge his family, Tanjiro becomes a "demon slayer" and embarks on a treacherous journey with Nezuko, who struggles to maintain her humanity as she fights against her own demonic nature. Together, they face formidable foes and confront the darkness that threatens to consume them. Will they be able to find a cure and bring peace to their family, or will they succumb to the demonic forces that surround them?
