In a distant future, the Galra Empire has spread its evil influence across the galaxy, destroying civilizations and enslaving countless races. But hope still exists in the form of a legendary warrior, Voltron - a mighty robot composed of five lion-like spacecraft, each piloted by a brave Paladin. When a group of unlikely heroes discovers the Blue Lion and meets Princess Allura, they become the new Paladins and embark on a quest to reunite the five Lions and form Voltron once again. With their combined strength, they must defend the universe against King Zarkon's tyrannical rule and restore peace to the galaxy.
