What is U-571 about? 
In the midst of World War II, the battle under the sea rages on. The Nazis have the upper hand, thanks to their Enigma coding machine, which makes their communication unbreakable. However, when a wrecked U-boat sends out an SOS signal, the Allies see this as their chance to seize the Enigma machine and turn the tide of the war. A team of American soldiers, led by Lieutenant Andrew Tyler (Matthew McConaughey), is sent to board the German submarine and capture the coding device.
