In the movie Qismat, a young villager named Shivjit moves to Chandigarh to pursue his studies and finds himself falling for his bubbly neighbor Bani. However, their love story takes a heartbreaking turn when Bani's father, a strict and traditional man, forces her into an arranged marriage. Despite their efforts to be together, fate has other plans, and the two are ultimately separated by a tragic twist of events.
