In a small town in Iowa, a woman named Pansy Milbank claims to have an angel living with her. When three tabloid reporters come to investigate, they are surprised to find that the angel, Michael, is not what they expected. He has wings, but he also smokes, drinks beer, and has a strong libido. Despite his unconventional behavior, Michael has a mission to help the reporters find true love. As they journey to Chicago, Michael uses up his allotment of miracles and begins to weaken. Will he be able to complete his mission and bring the reporters together before it's too late?
