Kruso

"Kruso" is a powerful drama that takes place on the small island of Hiddensee in the Baltic Sea, just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The island, known for its artistic community and alternative lifestyles, becomes a refuge for those seeking freedom and escape from the oppressive East German regime. Edgar, a young man who has lost his girlfriend in a tragic accident, joins the crew of a local tourist boat and meets Kruso, a charismatic and mysterious figure who is on a mission to save those who are desperate to flee across the sea. As Edgar becomes more involved with Kruso and his cause, he must confront his own fears and doubts and decide whether to join the fight for freedom.
