Clerks

Clerks follows the misadventures of Dante, a convenience store clerk, and his slacker friend Randal, who works at the neighboring video rental store. On a particularly chaotic day, Dante is forced to cover a shift at the Quick Stop Groceries, where he endures a series of bizarre encounters with eccentric customers. Meanwhile, Randal joins him for some philosophical discussions and they engage in various escapades around the store. As Dante struggles to deal with his recently engaged ex-girlfriend and an onslaught of demanding shoppers, he must also contend with his own disillusionment with his job and life in general. Filled with witty banter and offbeat humor, this indie classic has become a cult phenomenon.
