Blown Away tells the story of Jimmy Dove, a veteran member of the Boston police force's bomb squad, who is confronted by his past when a former friend and terrorist cellmate, Ryan Gaerity, escapes from prison and starts setting off bombs in Boston. Gaerity's bombs are designed to kill Dove and his colleagues, and Dove must race against time to stop them while also protecting his family. As the stakes rise, Dove must confront his past and face off against Gaerity in a final, explosive showdown.
