I kept wanting to write something about Charlie Kaufman's Netflix movie I'm Thinking of Ending Things (subject to two interpretations!), adapted from Iain Reid's novel. I found it dumbfounding, poetic, angst inducing, claustrophobic...
Plemons and Buckley are both absolutely phenomenal here, finding relatable character beats within a script that would have stymied other performers...
