On a picturesque island, a charming couple, Malin and Peter, welcome their first child, Skrallan, into the world. However, their joy is short-lived as Skrallan turns out to be a mischievous and energetic toddler who constantly gets into trouble. Her grandfather, Melker, struggles to keep up with her antics, and the island's residents are kept on their toes as Skrallan wreaks havoc wherever she goes. In a desperate attempt to restore peace, Stina sells Skrallan to a fisherman, Vesterman, for a mere 25 cents. But don't worry; Skrallan is soon back with her family, ready to cause more chaos and fun.
