The Eye

The Eye is a 2002 Hong Kong horror film directed by the Pang Brothers. The movie follows the story of Wong Kar Mun, a 20-year-old classical violinist who has been blind since the age of two. After undergoing a successful cornea transplant, Mun is able to see again, but she begins to experience strange and frightening visions. In the epilogue, Mun is seen roaming the streets of Hong Kong, still blind but content in the knowledge that she has found a true friend and supporter in Dr. Wah. The film ends with an ominous note, suggesting that even though Mun has lost her sight again, she may still have access to the supernatural world that she encountered through her new eyes.
