"Hairspray" is a feel-good movie that takes place in 1960s Baltimore, where a plus-size teenager named Tracy Turnblad dreams of becoming a dancer on a local TV show. Despite facing discrimination and bullying from her classmates and teachers, Tracy's infectious energy and dance moves earn her a spot on the show and make her an unlikely hero for integration.
