In the midst of social unrest in 1970s and 80s Sri Lanka, a young student named Arjie must confront his own identity, sexuality, and family dynamics. As he navigates his way through adolescence, Arjie faces challenges from both his traditional upbringing and the turbulent political climate. With the support of his progressive mother and a close-knit group of friends, Arjie must find the courage to be true to himself and forge his own path in a society that often rejects difference.
