Deep in a sealed lab, hidden away under the streets of New York City, scientists are bio-engineering a ferocious secret. Great white sharks bio-engineered to be the size of piranhas with flesh-ripping teeth and insatiable appetites for blood and bone are bred. Exciting and revolutionary, the very wealthiest of Manhattan flock to purchase these piranha sharks for their exotic aquariums at home to impress the finest of guests. However, when the creatures are let loose in the water, the fun quickly turns to screams of horror as the beasts turn to their most basic instinct and start to hunt.
