...it is an accomplished ensemble piece, thick with great performances pushing for space in the same frame.

In a strong cast, Mark Rylance really binds the story together as defense attorney William Kunstler.

...it’s Baron Cohen’s best performance ever, and he makes a superb double act with Strong’s Jerry Rubin.

Rylance fumes and twinkles like the master craftsman he is, swaying the viewer and maybe the judge and jury.

Heavyweight doesn’t begin to do justice to this cast...

This is a film that examines both the past and the present day; that plots a path on the common ground between them.
