"Living on One Dollar" is a documentary that follows four young friends as they embark on a life-changing journey to rural Guatemala. Armed with only a video camera, they set out to live on just $1 a day for two months, battling hunger, parasites, and extreme financial stress. As they struggle to survive on the edge, they find hope in the generosity and strength of the local community, particularly Rosa, a 20-year-old woman, and Chino, a 12-year-old boy. This powerful film shows that, despite the difficulties, there are ways to make a difference in a world where over 1.1 billion people live in poverty.
