In a strong cast, Mark Rylance really binds the story together as defense attorney William Kunstler.

...it is an accomplished ensemble piece, thick with great performances pushing for space in the same frame.

Rylance fumes and twinkles like the master craftsman he is, swaying the viewer and maybe the judge and jury.
