What is Hotel Paradis about? 
Hotel Paradis is a drama-comedy series that follows the story of Asger, a struggling artist who finds himself at a crossroads in his life. Despite his success as a painter, Asger's addiction to alcohol and drugs has left him unable to create and in financial ruin. When he receives news that his estranged father has passed away and left him an old hotel, Asger sees an opportunity to turn his life around and score some quick cash. But as he arrives at the hotel on a remote island off the coast of Denmark, he finds that it's not just the building that's neglected, but also his own life. Will Asger be able to overcome his demons and find a new purpose, or will he succumb to the same destructive patterns of behavior?
