Mulligan is the movie's centerpiece. With her "old soul" and pain-filled eyes, she takes the disconnect between her life and her inner turmoil and squeezes it together into madness.

Här finns inte en överflödig scen, inte en replik som kunde ha klippts bort. Det är kanske för tidigt att utnämna honom till en ny Ang Lee eller Sam Mendes, men jag hade inte varit förvånad om det var deras namn som stod på den här filmen.
