What Lies Below

Libby, a 16-year-old high school student, returns to her family lake house after summer camp to find her mother's new boyfriend, John, an aquatic geneticist. While initially charmed by John's intelligence and charm, Libby begins to suspect that he may be hiding something sinister. As she investigates, she discovers that John is working with parasites and has a strange connection to the lake. When her mother falls ill and reveals that she's pregnant, Libby realizes that John may not be human and is using her mother for his own sinister purposes. With the help of her friend Marley, Libby must uncover the truth behind John's true nature before it's too late.
