In the small town of Palasa in 1978, a brutal murder sets off a chain of events that exposes the deep-seated caste discrimination that plagues society. Two brothers, Mohan Rao and Ranga Rao, from a lower caste, rise up against the oppressive rule of the high caste Shavukar family, who have long oppressed the poor and marginalized. The brothers become goons in order to protect themselves and their community, but their actions spark a violent and dangerous struggle for power and justice. Will they be able to bring about change, or will the cycle of violence continue to plague Palasa?
