Nine to Five is a comedy film that follows the story of three secretaries, Judy, Violet, and Doralee, who work under the egotistical and sexist vice president, Franklin Hart. The women share their frustrations with each other and fantasize about getting revenge on their boss. One day, an accident occurs, and they believe they have poisoned Hart with rat poison. In a panic, they steal the body and try to cover up the mistake. However, things quickly spiral out of control as they struggle to keep their scheme hidden from their colleagues and the police. As events escalate, the women must confront their boss's despicable behavior while also reconciling with their own actions. Will they be able to take down Hart without getting caught?
