L'histoire se déroule à Tokyo, dans un monde inondé de bulles ayant modifié les lois de la gravité. Coupée du reste du monde, Tokyo est devenue le terrain de jeu d'un groupe de jeunes adeptes de parkour privés de leurs familles, dont les équipes s'affrontent d'immeuble en immeuble. Un jour, après une figure périlleuse, Hibiki, jeune prodige connu pour son style de jeu risqué, est propulsé vers l'océan dénué de gravité qui entoure la ville. Il est sauvé par l'intervention soudaine d'Uta, jeune fille aux pouvoirs mystérieux. Tous deux vont alors entendre un son qu'eux seuls peuvent percevoir. Pourquoi Uta a-t-elle ainsi rejoint Hibiki ? Leur rencontre les mènera à une révélation qui va changer le monde.
