Leila, a bisexual woman, breaks up with her long-term partner Sadie and moves in with Gabe, a neurotic novelist. Despite their differences, they form an unlikely friendship as Gabe helps Leila navigate her new life dating men and women. Leila introduces Gabe to the queer scene, while he tries to help her decipher his own complicated relationship with his sort-of girlfriend Francisca. As Leila struggles to come out to her gay friends, her business relationship with Sadie hangs in the balance.
