In 1897, a small regiment of 21 Sikh soldiers faced off against an army of over 10,000 Afghans in the epic Battle of Saragarhi. Despite being vastly outnumbered, the Sikhs fought with bravery and honor, and their legendary battle became a symbol of courage and sacrifice.
