In the midst of preparations for Christmas, Pyrus, a hapless elf working at the National Archives, stumbles upon an ancient laboratory hidden away for years. Excited by the prospect of helping his boss's sick son, Pyrus concocts a potion from the lab's mysterious artifacts, but it has disastrous consequences. The son shrinks to elf size and wreaks havoc in the archives, possessing a magical book that allows him to teleport into various books, including the prime minister's phone book, the traffic plan for Copenhagen, and the national budget. With the country in chaos and everyone blaming Pyrus, he must find a way to reverse the damage and restore order before it's too late.
