Good story about a lawyer who stumbles because of his arrogance, but all in all too many subplots which don't contribute to the main plot

The ending is a doozy, but it's the excellent acting by the three leads that elevates this courtroom drama to a modern classic. Particularly Norton's Oscar-nominated debut performance.
