Mickey Mouse and his friends are snowed in at the House of Mouse on Christmas Eve. Despite the setbacks, they decide to hold a Christmas party to lift everyone's spirits. However, Donald is not feeling the holiday cheer and becomes increasingly grumpy. To help him get into the Christmas spirit, Mickey and Minnie show him various Christmas cartoons, including "Donald on Ice," "Pluto's Christmas Tree," and "The Nutcracker." After watching the cartoons, Donald's mood doesn't improve, and he sours the crowd's mood. Feeling upset, Mickey tries to cheer everyone up by decorating his house with blinding lights and conducting interviews about Christmas wishes and gratitude. In the end, everyone, including villains like Jafar, enjoys Christmas, but Donald still refuses to change his mood.
