Pawn Street

In Turin, Italy, desperate individuals bring their belongings to a pawn shop, hoping for a ransom or a final auction. Amidst the sea of faces, three stories intertwine, revealing the human cost of the crisis. Sandra, a young trans woman, sells her fur coat to escape her past, but finds an unlikely connection with Stefano, a novice bank employee. Michele, a retired porter, asks for a loan from the wrong person, causing a chain of events that exposes the dark underbelly of the pawn shop's operations. As the characters' paths cross, they must confront their own moral debts and the harsh realities of a world that refuses to accept them.
